Titanium Wire
Titanium is noted primarily for outstanding strength, elevated temperature properties, low thermal conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance. .
It is a very light material that contains no
nickel and is hypoalergenic. This alloy is used in the aerospace industry and medical
field due to its properties.
The Titanium that we carry is in 3 foot wire rods and is sold by the foot or pund. This wire can be brilliantly colored.
Type 316L Stainless Steel
Type 316L is a very low carbon modification of the Type 316. The control of the carbon to .03% max minimizes the problem of carbide precipitation and permits this alloy to be used in a wide variety of corrosive applications.
Due to its excellent resistance to corrosion, it is used in the medical, industrial, and jewelry industries.
